How does the ground transfer from Abu Dhabi to Dubai work?

Accepted Answer

Your chauffeur meets you in the arrivals hall at Zayed International (AUH) with a name board, assists with luggage and drives you directly to your Dubai address. The drive is typically 45-60 minutes on the E11 in a private, air-conditioned executive vehicle. Return transfers back to AUH are arranged the same way.

Which European cities are eligible?

All major Etihad-served hubs, including London Heathrow, Paris CDG, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Zurich, Geneva, Munich, Milan, Rome, Madrid, Barcelona, Brussels, Vienna, Copenhagen and Dublin. If your home city is not served directly we will build a connection into the itinerary.

Is the chauffeur really complimentary?

Yes. The transfer is included with eligible Etihad business and first class bookings made through us, for one vehicle per booking, to a single Dubai address. Additional stops, oversized groups or transfers outside the Dubai city limits can be arranged at a supplement.

Why fly into Abu Dhabi instead of Dubai?

We can also offer Emirates direct into Dubai at a discount, but the saving is usually smaller and the lowest fares are harder to find. Fares into AUH are frequently far lower than the equivalent DXB itinerary, and Zayed International is a brand-new, calm terminal with fast immigration. With the chauffeur included, you arrive at your Dubai hotel relaxed and often for substantially less than a direct DXB fare.
